Customer Lookup makes it possible quick and easy to extract information on a customer
This function is found in the action button, which is located at the bottom right corner in the product view as well as the in the basket. Press ‘Customer Lookup’ to obtain information on a specific customer.
NB! Customer Lookup requires integration.
A new page til appear and the customer is looked up. This can be done with the customer ID, telephone number, E-mail address or other information that’s part of the customer’s data.
Press ‘Enter’ on the keyboard when the correct information is entered. A completed search will obtain all the information on the specific customer such as details and previous sales as well as the opportunity to add a deposit and connecting the customer to the current sale.
If incorrect information is entered, the alter ‘The customer could not be found', will show
Click on the wanted customer and then press ‘Add customer’ to add the customer to the current sale.
When the concerned customer is added to the sale, the name of this customer will appear in the basket
If E-com products are part of the basket, the delivery information is filled out with the customer information.
Furthermore, the customer’s E-mail is entered automatically after a completed sale. An electronic receipt can thus be sent to the customer immediately.
When a sale is completed, the added customer will be removed, and a new customer can be added to the next sale.
Do you want to remove a customer from the sale, press ‘Add customer’ in the action button or on the customer’s name in the basket and then choose ‘Remove’. It’s now possible to look up a new customer.
Finally, it’s possible to make discount rules effective only for members. See the section 'Discount Rules' for a description of all the possible discount rules.
When clicking 'Profile' on the customer in question, statistics on the customer's buying habits as well as previously bought items are shown.
To see previous sales of the concerned customer, press on ‘Previous sales’. An overview of all the previous sales made by the customer is shown. It’s possible to search for a sale by entering an ID or sequence number.
It’s possible to add a deposit to the customer account. This deposit will be added to the basket. The deposit is added by clicking on ‘Add deposit’. Now, a new window will open, and the wanted deposit is entered. Press ‘Add deposit’, and the deposit will now be visible in the basket.
